This book gave me so much laughter, heartache and love. I shed tears during some parts and just was amazed at other.

I DO love this book, I'm going to read it again then decide if I want to keep it forever on my kindle or what. This book is so well written with the exception of a few little things. Storyline is fabulous, its all about public servants, firemen and paramedics and how their lives can intertwine. Add in the bad boy MC club Dixie Wardens. Add in a lot of medical situations that are funny as heck and probably based on fact, some that are serious and sad, firefighters that are Alpha to beat the band and the MC bad boys too.. wow what a mix. The book is funny when you least expect it, sexually hot as hell, and the times for anguish are well founded. The interaction between Sebastian, the fireman, and Baylee the paramedic is powerful, loving, mysterious and funny. My concerns for the book are the lack of good editing. Many grammatical errors, but the most glaring is the sudden change in person. You have to stop and reread some of the sentences to try and figure out who is talking and how it switched so suddenly. It is being told from a third person pov then suddenly its being told from the first person pov. That's annoying to me, but not enough that I won't read the next book. There are 5 all together that I've seen, and this one is not a cliffhanger. It has a wonderful ending that was a bit unexpected, but not rushed through. I totally love the story with the exception of the things I have mentioned. If the author could make a few adjustments in her writing technique and better editing I would not have a single negative thing to say. Worth the read.
Sebastian was one that i grew to be curious about when he was introduced in the Freebirds series. I wanted to get more of his character, I knew that it was going to take a certain type of girl to bring him to his knees. And Baylee was perfect. She didn't let him walk all over her like anyone else would have. She did realize that there was more to him other than what most saw when they looked at him. Yes he is the VP of the Dixie Wardens MC, but he's also a father, brother, son and a firefighter that will put his life on the line for others. Baylee is no little princess either. She is a parametic that won't let having the issues that she has hold her back. Thye both bring something out of each other, that makes you want more.
Sebastian lives by a few rules, as a VP for the Heroes of the Dixie Wardens and a single father, he keeps a distance from committing to a woman and never letting one on the back of his bike. He did that once and it killed her. When he agrees to help build a porch he meets Baylee Roberts, she is everything he would be looking for in a woman but he is not sure if he is good enough for the beauty who has a different perspective on life.

Baylee has been fantasizing about Sebastian since she borrowed, well permanently decided to keep, his hat. When they continue to run in the same circles, Sebastian decides he is going for it and Baylee is excited to see where it will lead. Sebastian has to decide if he is planning to let Baylee all the way in though and make her his old lady, can she handle to truth or is he willing to let it go.

I absolutely adored this book. Sebastian is no nonsense and he handles Baylee beautifully. Baylee is a handful, her brain goes on overload sometimes and I think she ignores things sometimes that causes her to get in trouble. I liked the whole MC dynamic and that it was just not a smooth romance, they had real problems that they had to work on. Definitely an MC series to pick up if you have not already.
